Killerman and other well-known figures in Rwandan cinema at El Classico Beach Chez West

Several well-known figures in Rwandan cinema, including Killerman and his team from Killerman Empire; Intare y’Ingore, Micky, Soloba, Mama Zulu, and others, came together to celebrate at El Classico Beach Chez West. During this event, they also took the opportunity to wish Killerman, Micky, Intare y’Ingore, and others a happy birthday and Happy New Year.

During the event, Killerman took the microphone to thank everyone who made this celebration possible and also expressed his gratitude to El Classico Beach Chez West for providing the venue and welcoming them as they always do, since this was not the first time they had gathered there.

Killerman said, “I want to thank everyone who made this event happen and also express my gratitude to El Classico Beach Chez West for hosting us. This is priceless.” His words were accompanied by music and a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate those with birthdays.

Many of their fans, who love to hang out at El Classico Beach Chez West in Rubavu, were thrilled to meet their idols in person, noting that the kind of celebration they were witnessing was something unique and special to the venue.

Anicet Jaspec, a local customer, remarked, “El Classico Beach Chez West ended the year on a high note. Look at how much fun the celebrities are having at this event. He continued, “This says a lot about El Classico Beach Chez West as Bar and restaurant in particular. It shows us how the owner [West] values people and treats them well. You can’t host someone badly and expect them to return. Killerman and Nsabi have been here before and always enjoy how they are received.”

Among the stars present were Nyambo Jesca, Mama Zulu (known for her roles in various films), Micky (rumored to have separated from Regis, sparking media buzz), and others mainly from Killerman Empire.

In an interview with UMUNSI.COM, NSHIMIYIMANA Onesphore, also known as Fire West and the owner of El Classico Beach Bar and Restaurent, explained how important it is to host Rwandan film stars at his venue. He emphasized that this is a reflection of the success they have achieved in providing excellent service to their customers and assured that 2025 would bring even greater things.

He said, “Hosting cinema stars in Rwanda is an honor. It shows me that we are making progress in providing great service. I want to thank my team, those who welcome our customers, our chefs, and everyone who has contributed to making this year, 2024, a success. We promise that in 2025, even greater things are coming. We invite everyone to come here to celebrate any occasion, whether it’s in our beautiful garden, by the water, or in our event spaces.”

El Classico Beach Chez West is a popular bar and restaurant located in Rubavu District, Nyamyumba Sector, near the Bralirwa brewery and the new Rubavu port which handles large boats crossing the border. The restaurant is famous for its delicious fish dishes, with a variety of options, including grilled fish, served alongside fries.
