Alina Habba, former legal advisor to Donald Trump and former acting US attorney for New Jersey, has married 29-year-old Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon in an extravagant ceremony at Manhattan’s Waldorf Astoria. The high-profile gathering brought together prominent figures from political, business, and entertainment circles, capturing widespread attention for its sudden organization and opulent details.
The couple exchanged vows in the hotel’s fourth-floor ballroom, which had been transformed into an elaborate floral display featuring pink and white cherry blossoms alongside hundreds of red roses. Planning for the event took place on a tight three-month timeline after the couple’s original venue choice, the Plaza Hotel, was fully booked. To pull off the quick turnaround, they hired leading event planners from Palm Beach. Industry experts estimate that the ballroom hire, floral designs, and live entertainment alone totaled around $1 million, excluding guest accommodations and auxiliary venue space.
Despite Donald Trump’s absence due to a pre-scheduled college football appearance in Tennessee, the guest list featured several key figures tied to his administration. High-profile attendees included FBI Director Kash Patel, US Attorney General Todd Blanche, and senior communications advisor Margo Martin. Outside of political circles, former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was also in attendance, alongside Habba's two children, Chloe and Luke, from her first marriage.
Habba, 42, was previously married to attorney Matthew Eyet, with whom she shares her two children, before their divorce in 2019. She later married commercial parking executive Gregg Reuben, a relationship that also ended in divorce. Mildon, who finalized his own divorce in 2024, is the current chief executive officer of Miller Holding. The Turkish conglomerate was founded by his grandfather in 1967 and operates across major global sectors, including mining, energy, and construction. Beyond his business holdings, Mildon’s family maintains notable political ties, including connections to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and high-level leaders in Venezuela and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The newlyweds were first introduced through a mutual friend earlier this year. Their relationship moved into the public eye after appearances together at a Washington event at the Kennedy Center and a July 4th gathering at a private club in the capital. Speculation around an upcoming wedding intensified in the weeks prior after Habba was seen wearing an estimated 23-carat diamond ring and carrying a rare Hermes Birkin handbag. Addressing public interest surrounding the quick union, Mildon emphasized in media statements that their relationship is strictly personal and devoid of any political strategy.
